Prof. Mutlu Arat, M.D. was graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1991. After his residency in internal medicine at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, he completed his specialty in hematology. Prof. Mutlu Arat worked as a transplantation coordinator in Ankara University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Hematology for many years, and performed over 1400 bone marrow transplantations.

Prof. Mutlu Arat, M.D. started to work at Group Florence Nightingale Hospitals in 2010, and he is the founder of the Bone Marrow Transplant Center. Since the establishment of the center, Prof. Arat and his team have been honored to carry out over 600 bone marrow transplants, including more than 350 autologous transplants and over 250 allogeneic transplants.
