First examination and analysis

These first examinations are intended to answer two main questions.

The first assessment consists of some detailed investigations, which are necessary to establish the safest and most appropriate treatment plan and is at least as important as the operation itself.

You should avoid using lenses at least 5 days before surgery (ideally for 7 days) if they are soft and at least 10 days before (ideally 3 weeks) if they are stiff.

Stages of treatment

The first stage of a laser treatment is a short procedure that does not present any discomfort to the patient. The patient should come to the operation without stress or worries, just avoid using cosmetics, perfumes and anticoagulant drugs such as aspirin.

The patient’s eyes will be anesthetized with eye drops before entering the laser operating room.

After the surgery, the patient leaves the operating room without eye bandages and will have a final check-up by his doctor, after which the patient can go home.

Slight pain, stinging and tearing of the eyes may occur in the first 3-4 hours. Rarely, patients need sedatives. It is not advisable to drive the car, rub your eyes and no water should enter your eyes. Everything will end within 24 hours of surgery. The patient can continue the normal routine without wearing glasses or lenses the day after surgery. If wrinkles occur or there are signs of inflammation of the cornea, it may be necessary to wash under it.

This operation is much less complicated than surgery.

Checks should be performed on the first, third day and first month after medical treatment. The patient will be prescribed various eye drops for three weeks after the operation.

SUPRACOR

SUPRACOR is a simple procedure that can ensure vision correction. During this operation, by applying the excimer laser to the outer surface of the eye, the cornea is slightly reshaped. Compared to other refractive surgical procedures, SUPRACOR is relatively safe. Also. It is applicable to patients previously treated with LASIK.

 

OBJECTION

The result of the treatment with SUPRACOR allows you to read daily without glasses, restaurant menus, on the computer or mobile phone and to do things that you do in everyday life. SUPRACOR is a safe and effective method of correcting distance vision and zooming in a single session, without affecting distance vision.

APPLICATION

SUPRACOR, is a new corneal technique, which can be applied with the help of Teknolas Excimer Laser C217. Due to the treatment algorithm, it is applied to both eyes at the same time. This technique is applied to the eyes with hyperopia, emetropia and myopia, as well as in post-LASIK cases. Both the distance and the near vision are corrected in a single session.

This treatment is developed based on the experience in Intracor and is the best combination eye treatment in the world. While other Presby-Lasik methods have led to impaired distance vision due to unwanted deviations that occur in students, this method ensures results without forming unwanted deviations.

CRITERIAS

There are some eligibility criterias for SUPRACOR.

Treatment may be applied if these criterias are met in examinations and measurements. SUPRACOR can be applied to any eye suitable for LASIK. Restrictions are the same as for LASIK candidates, such as dry eye, cataracts, thin cornea, glaucoma, and eye diseases such as keratoconus.

RISKS

Unlike Intracor’s 80% success rate, SUPRACOR’s success rate was raised to 90%. Also, for the first time, we can treat both patients with distant farsightedness and patients with near-farsightedness (presbyopia) simultaneously.
